Bodegues Oliver
Bodegues Oliver is a small family winery located in Binissalem, a village in the Raiguer region of Mallorca with an important winemaking tradition. The bodega, next to the Ca’ls Agustins church, is one of the oldest on the island, as its history goes back to 1937 when Antoni Oliver Orell founded the wine company. In the beginning, they started producing and selling wine in bulk on a very small scale, which they produced in a barn behind their house.
In 1950, Antoni Oliver junior, together with his wife Antònia Vallès, took over the business and gradually expanded it throughout the island. They incorporated the production of bottled wine, the sale in the different villages of Raiguer and, later, the commercialisation in the rest of Mallorca. An important event for the evolution and growth of Bodegas Oliver was the purchase in 1978 of the Bodega de Ca’ls Agustins, founded in 1700 by the brotherhood of the Augustinian Brothers.
Nowadays it is the third generation, the brothers Toni and Pedro Oliver Vallès, who run the winery. In recent years, Bodegues Oliver has constantly evolved, both in terms of production and infrastructure, but without leaving aside the essence of its beginnings or the passion for wine.
The winery offers quality wines, both bottled and in bulk, and sells directly from the winery to the customer. It should be noted that they have a sustainable management, recycling 98% of their waste production.
