



Can Delante
Can Delante is a bakery that has been dedicated to the elaboration of all kinds of traditional sweets of the island for more than 160 years. It was Ramon Prats Arrom who started his activity in 1856. Since 2008, the business has been run by Joan Sans Perelló, who inherited it from his father.
They are manufacturers and distributors of nougat, Easter candies, ice cream preparations and a long list of the most traditional desserts of our islands, such as ensaimadas, cakes, almond gató, empanadas (panades) and rubiols, savoury and sweet cocas, among others. Can Delante is a family business recognised throughout the Balearic Islands for making products with top quality materials and in a traditional way.
The shop is a member of the quality label Pa d’aquí, forn i tradició, which identifies establishments with a baker’s oven where the different varieties of traditional bread from the Balearic Islands are made by hand.
Located in a protected building in calle Major, the façade still preserves the sign. Inside the premises, the original shelves and furniture are preserved. When you enter this confectioner’s shop, it seems that time has stood still.
