Can Ros

The history of Can Ros began in 1960, when the father of the current owner, Juan Guasch, used his savings to buy some knives and a small cold store, and in the shade of a fig tree, in the Can Bellotera neighbourhood, he began to sell pork and lamb. Over the years, his son Toni and his wife Catalina joined him, and it was then that they acquired the premises where they are now, in the same neighbourhood. Today, it is still a family business, now in its third generation.

Today, Can Ros is well known for its wide selection of Ibizan meats and for the typical sausages they make in the traditional way: sobrasadas and black pudding made with Ibizan pork and salt and a mixture of natural spices. In addition, the shop has a delicatessen section with handmade sausages and cheeses and a wide variety of the best gourmet products.

After 60 years in business, this traditional, family-run shop has maintained a close relationship with its customers and promotes local products and responsible consumption.
