Celler Tianna Negre
Coming from a family of farmers, Antonia Garau inherited a small vineyard in Consell which was the beginning of Celler Tianna Negre.
Together with her children, the current owners, and thanks to this small piece of land planted with Manto Negro, the idea of building a winery to produce their own wines was born. In 2004, the architectural design of the building was started, and it opened its doors for the first harvest in 2007. The Celler Tianna Negre facilities combine architectural design, functionality, and respect for the environment.
This family winery owns 55 hectares of organic vineyards located in Binissalem and Consell, villages with a wine-growing tradition in the Raiguer region. They work mainly with local grape varieties: Manto negro, Callet, Gorgollasa and Escursac as red grapes, and Moll or Prensal, Giró Ros and Moscatel de Frontignac as white grapes. They make new wines with innovative and differential processes.
In the winery itself they have a point of sale with personalised attention and advice, as well as a tasting prior to the purchase of the product. You can buy the full range of organic wines they make, as well as organic extra virgin olive oil, which belongs to the Oli de Mallorca Denomination of Origin. They also offer guided tours of part of the vineyards and the winery’s facilities.
