Cristaleria Artística Fiol

Cristalería Artística Fiol is a family business founded in 1964 by Antoni Fiol Vila, who worked at the glassworks El Espejo Mallorquín and opened the first shop in Calle de Can Jaquotot. With almost sixty years of experience, it specialises in the production of leaded stained glass and all kinds of products related to artistic glass. The business has also adapted to modern times, with the incorporation of other craft techniques such as fusing (glass fusing) and Tiffany glass. The workshop is located next to the shop, which has been in Carrer Bernat Amer since 1975.

In 1991, after discovering his passion for the trade, the founder’s son, José Luís Fiol Roca, joined the business and succeeded in establishing it as a reference point for leaded glass in Mallorca.

The restoration of 32 stained glass windows in la Seu de Palma and, most importantly, the restoration of the main rose window in 2009, which restored the appearance and luminosity of the original model, are among their most important works. They have also made stained glass windows for the churches of Felanitx, Cala Rajada and Sant Miquel, among others.

Since 2018, the company has been looking forward to the future thanks to the addition of Daniel Fiol Montserrat, the third generation of the family.
