Estarellas Sabates

This establishment located at Carrer de Jaume II since 1937 sells quality footwear, mostly manufactured in Spain. Originally, the business belonged to the same family as Calzados Estarellas, but in 1973 the shop on Jaume II, then managed by Sebastià Estarellas, was handed over to the Palou family.

Miquel Riera, the current owner, tells how his wife and sister-in-law, Catalina and Maria Neus Palou, took over the shoe shop in the mid-seventies and that he helped them from the beginning. Initially the establishment specialised in men’s footwear, but over time it has expanded to include women’s models. It is one of the few shops that offers a wide range of women’s footwear in sizes 42 to 45.

Although the premises underwent a complete refurbishment in 2008, it is still characterised by its personalised customer service, offering quality footwear manufactured in Spain.

The fact that it is a shop that has been in continuous operation for more than eighty years, and is an example of family and proximity commerce, is worth highlighting. It has also adapted to the times and has always offered the latest trends in footwear and a friendly customer service. In recent years it has made an effort to make itself known through social networks in order to be recognised as a physical shop with a human touch, but also as a business that respects its online customers.
