Floristeria Miquel Capellà
The history of this florist’s shop began in 1948 when Francisco Moll and Sebastiana Pizà opened a business in the Mercat de Santa Catalina, where it has been since its foundation. At that time it was dedicated to the sale of flowers and also to the sale of fruit and vegetables. They later transferred the business to their nephew Miquel Capellà, who continued it.
Miquel Capellà and his family continued with the business until he retired in 2007, when he transferred the business to his daughter Cati Capellà.
The florist’s shop offers a wide variety of flowers, most of them produced in Mallorca, in order to promote local cultivation. The usual sales are flowers for the home, flower arrangements and for various events. They have a home delivery service and also have a large display of quality artificial flowers, as well as an assortment of indoor and outdoor plants, also from km 0.
They strive to combine tradition with modern business management, and adapt to the current needs and demands of their customers.
They have been in business for more than 75 years and have been witness to the commercial evolution of the Mercat de Santa Catalina over the years.
