Flors Ca’n Pellisseta
Flores Ca’n Pellisseta has almost fifty years of dedication to the world of floral art, which has meant having to adapt to many situations during all this time. Guillem Ginard Ferrer and Sebastiana Sala Lladonet were pioneers in the cultivation of carnations and cut flowers in Mallorca. They created a world of flowers where their sons Guillem and Lluc have grown and lived, and which they have shared.
Ca’n Pellisseta is a shop located in a Renaissance manor house, documented in the last quarter of the 16th century, situated in the middle of the historic centre of the village of Campos. The building has a doorway with a semicircular arch on the outside of Cosme Maria Oliver Street. The four-point vaults and arches on the ground floor, the twin portal on the first floor and the cellar connected to the old cistern in the basement, from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, make up an architectural ensemble of great interest.
The work, conducted in full view of customers, and the changes in window dressing have proved to be a major attraction, both for the local public and for visitors. Although they offer the services of any traditional florist, they are also dedicated to the design of floral decorations and events, both for individuals and companies. Their large-scale works are remarkable, using natural and remarkably simple materials to create extraordinarily complex structures. Examples of these works are the participation in several editions of ArtNit Campos and in “els llits de la Mare de Déu morta” of Els Mínims convent, among others.
Apart from the dedication required to have a shop open to the public, they offer a comprehensive service for all kinds of occasions. They work with all the materials that any florist should master, such as natural flowers and greens, plants, dried flowers, etc., but above all they always try to give personalised attention, considering the needs and tastes of each client. The aim is to go beyond simple aesthetics to convey a message and create emotions in each job.
