Golfos Casual Wear

The Mercadal family has been linked to the world of tailoring since 1915, when Bartolomé Mercadal Burguera opened his first workshop. He began his career as an apprentice and went on to become a tailor. The Mercadals were pioneers in industrial tailoring, a system in which the brand manufactured the garments and the shops were responsible for the final finishing touches such as sewing and polishing the pieces.

The tailoring business remained active until the 1970s, when the business was transformed into ‘La Meca de los Pantalones’ and ‘Bandido’, establishments dedicated to the sale of fashionable clothing. They later moved to Jaime II street.

With the arrival of the third generation to the family business, Bartolomé Mercadal Alabern moved the business to its current location on Pas den Quint street. The premises still conserve the rooms of the old clothes workshops.
