Joyeria Piña Grau

Josep Grau began his jewellery career repairing gold chains. In 1952, he joined forces with Josep Pinya and the two of them opened their first shop in Calle de Tagamanent, from where they later moved to Calle de Sant Bartomeu. At the beginning of the 21st century, the jewellers moved to Carrer de Colom and the workshop remained in the Sant Bartomeu premises.

It is a large family-run jewellery shop, specialising in silver work, gold jewellery and personalised orders. They also repair jewellery.

The heirs of Pinya and Grau continue to run the business, reaching the third generation of the family, made up of Toni Grau and Carolina Fuster. The values of the business are honesty, professionalism, product quality and the motivation of the staff, who are responsible for the loyalty shown, day after day, by their customers.

He says that, far from discouraging them, the times of crisis have driven them to reinvent themselves, which has led them to continue with the production of handmade jewellery and goldsmithing.
