La Pajarita Charcuteria

La Pajarita Charcutería was founded in 1872 as a grocery shop offering sweet and savoury food. In 1972, the elder brother of the fifth generation of the Mulet family, owners and founders of the business, decided to rent the premises next door and divide the grocery shop into two separate areas: the charcuterie on one side and the sweet shop on the other.

Today, the establishment specialises in the sale of charcuterie products. The establishment is characterised by the high quality of its products and its range of gourmet items, both local and from all over the world. It is a point of reference for its delicatessen offer in the centre of Palma, such as the cold meats it produces.

The business is currently run by Javier Mulet, with the recent addition of Pep Mulet, the sixth generation of the family, as well as the new chef Pau Barceló.

The establishment shares the same style as the establishment next door, La Pajarita Bombonería, with which it shares a façade, with wooden windows painted in shades of orange. The whole of the façade is very well cared for, lined with orange-coloured wood and with glass windows and doors that allow you to see inside the shop. Inside, you can find shelves, displays and refrigerated counters in order to keep the product in the best possible condition.
