Licors Moyà

Licors Moyà began its activity in 1854, but it was not until 1890 that the company was officially founded. It is a well-established business not only in Artà, but in the islands in general. They have the Master Craftsman’s Charter and stand out for the production of hierbas and palo de Mallorca, with the Geographical Indication seal since 2009 for these two products. They also produce other distillates that they distribute throughout the Balearic Islands and certain parts of the European Union.

The company is currently run by the sixth generation of the Moyà family, all of whom are direct family members, as the business has been passed down from father to son.

During these one hundred years they have lived through many experiences. At the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, in 1936, a bomb fell on the factory, killing Gabriel Moyà Amorós, who belonged to the third generation. His son Joan rebuilt the factory and took over at the age of 15.

In 1997 they opened the wine shop, a space specialising in the sale of a wide range of references, including wines from practically all the designations of origin in Spain, as well as from many places around the world.  We also found our own made spirits, sparkling wines, champagnes, a large selection of distillates, gin, vodka, rum, whisky, tequila, brandy, liqueur and gourmet products, as well as oils, vinegars, chocolates, sommelier accessories, etc., always with professional advice and a personalised service from the sales team.
