Mulet rellotgeria i joieria

Mulet, Rellotgeria i Joieria is a family business founded by master watchmaker Antoni Mulet in 1974, dedicated to the creation, manufacture, sale and repair of jewellery and watches. His son Damià Mulet is a jeweller with a master craftsman’s certificate, who creates and markets his works under the brand name “Damià Mulet, joies”.

It is worth mentioning that in 2014 he created the “Col-lecció Capparis spinosa”, a line of jewellery where the emblematic capers are brought back to life in Campos in the form of an exclusive souvenir. The designs recall this crop that is so deeply rooted in the municipality, and which today is practically no longer cultivated, although it remains in the collective memory. Damià Mulet also has other collections such as “Article Salat” and “Fruit de la Terra”, among others.

In 2002 he began his relationship with the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny de les Illes Balears (School of Art and Design of the Balearic Islands) where he works as a workshop teacher and since 2007, he has been Head of the Jewellery Department. To celebrate the feast of Saint Eloy, patron saint of jewellers, in 2002 he promoted the first jewellery competition at the EASDIB.

From 1996 to 2015 Damià Mulet has received numerous awards and distinctions such as the Premi d’Artesania de Menorca or the Mostra de Joieria d’Avantguarda de Altafulla. He also won first prize at the Concurs d’Artesania de Mallorca in 2015.
