Tapicería Vidal

Tapicería Vidal opened its doors in the 1940s under the management of Jaume Vidal Mulet. He already had a lot of experience in the world of upholstery because before setting up his own business he worked at Quesada as a manager, a fact that allowed him to get to know and build loyalty among many customers. His nephew Jaume took over the business when he retired and was one of the pioneers in the first renovations of hotel chains when tourism began in Mallorca.

Sebastián Vidal, the current owner and son of the founder’s nephew, started working there at the age of 14 and has continued to do so to this day. With the incorporation of his children Jaime and Cristina, the fourth generation continues the family tradition and ensures the business’s future.

The establishment combines two spaces, one for the workshop and the other for the shop, where different items of furniture and household utensils are displayed and sold, with a special emphasis on Mallorcan fabrics. Its customers include both individuals and hotel chains.
