Tejidos Bellver

In 1945, Rafel Lladó, the grandfather of the current owners, founded Tejidos Bellver together with three partners, near the church of Sant Miquel. At first, it was dedicated to the sale of fabrics by the metre for making dresses and also for household linen. Tejidos Bellver was also one of the first establishments to sell school uniforms.

When he retired in 1990, his son, also called Rafel, and his granddaughter, Maria Teresa, took over the business. They moved the shop to its current location, between Plaça de L’Olivar and Plaça de La Porta Pintada, where they specialised in household linen and school uniforms and stopped selling fabrics.

Today, Maria Teresa is the third generation to run the Palma-based business. They also have a shop in Inca, which is run by her sister.
