Calçats Torres

In 1952, José Torres Allés, when he was very young, opened the first Calçats Torres shoe factory in the family home in Ses Andrones street in Ciutadella, which was his first point of sale. José made the models to measure for each client and little by little shoes became his life’s passion.

In the sixties, at the height of the commercial boom, the Torres factory moved to Domingo Savio street, where they are still located today. In 1973 they opened the shop on Camino de Maó, where they started selling their product when it was still a garage. Years later they expanded the business with more points of sale, where they have been incorporating fashion items from leading brands, both national and international.

Currently, the second generation of the family manages the factory, which has returned to its origins with some sandal models and has incorporated the Menorcan abarca with a seal of quality into its production.
