Tot punt
Tot Punt, as its name suggests, began its activity with the sale of wool and cotton around April 1980 by Margalida Torrens Pol, a master weaver. The shop was the meeting place for customers who came to weave pieces for the whole family with Margalida’s help.
Aina Bibiloni, the founder’s daughter, took over the reins of the shop to continue with a much-loved family business, despite the changes that small businesses have undergone. With her slogan “robademilcolors” (“clothing in a thousand colours”) she wants to continue transmitting to the public that they will always find a suitable piece of clothing in the shop.
In 2003, they started a section dedicated to traditional clothing, as Binissalem’s neighbours want to wear their personalised clothing during the Festes des Vermar. At first, they simply sold shirts and little else. In fact, this service of making traditional Mallorcan peasant clothing and made-to-measure orders is their strong point and the benchmark for the future of the business.
Over time, they have been expanding their catalogue of products and services. At present they continue to sell clothes and accessories, wool, cotton, and haberdashery items. They also give knitting and crochet classes to establish a network where they can socialise and create synergies that enrich even more what makes up a small business today
