Vinya Taujana

The Crespí family has been linked to the wine sector for decades, but it was in 2001 when they renovated the traditional winery and created Vinya Taujana. It is run by brothers Joan and Sebastià Crespí Coll, although the family tradition goes back three generations of artisan winemaking. Its beginnings date back to the beginning of the 19th century, in the Bodega de Can Palou on their mother’s side, and in the Bodega de Can Don Andreu on their father’s side.

At Vinya Taujana, two types of activities can be distinguished. Firstly, the production of wines following the family tradition, as well as their sale. The winery has always been committed to quality, being part of the DO Binissalem Mallorca. The winery produces differentiated wines in facilities that combine modernity and tradition. They also offer arranged visits with tastings of their own wines, as well as direct sales.

On the other hand, they are also winegrowers and are personally in charge of the ageing, care and maintenance of the vines, from tilling and pruning to the harvesting period. For them it is very important to pay attention to the appearance of the field and the vines, not only because it is an indicator of the quality of the fruit to be harvested, but also for environmental and scenic reasons.

The winery encourages participation in activities and excursions to make Santa Eugènia and its surroundings known to both residents and visitors, thus highlighting the importance of the land and the local produce.
